How soon is it okay to discuss past relationships, sexual experiences or encounters, credit scores, and other personal records with a new mate?

I think it is ok to discuss past relationships like the first few weeks. Sexual experience should be discussed around the time you get ready to "bump uglys" and credit score and things like that should be discussed like some years after y'all meet.

^^I concur Miss Sarcasm. It is dependent upon the progression of the relationship and the comfort level amongst the two people involved.
I do not discuss finances and credit until the relationship is monogamous and marriage is considered.

past relationships/ sexual experiences.... really that depends on the people involved. i personally never really want to hear about ur past relationships and sex experiences unless it somehow will effect me. credit and finaces should be discussed when the relationship is moving towards marriage or if people are considering moving in with one another.

when the relationship seems like its getting serious (most likely close to wedding bells) you should discuss that; when it comes to credit scores.
Personal records should be discuss soon because you dont want to get into any of their mess. Same goes for past relationships/sexual experiences.

I think its okay to discuss past relationships within the 2nd to 3rd week. It may be a little fast, but I want to know his views and thoughts on his ex’s and whether or not he will speak respectful of them or not. I don’t want to hear of or discuss sexual experiences at all and as far his credit score. I wouldn’t wait until marriage to find out wheatear he would have a hard time getting approved for a house, so I would ask about that after the first 6 months. And as far as background checks, I do that the first week, I just don’t tell them.
