What do you call 'it'?

Sex. When you refer to it with your significant other what do you call it? Do you think that the term 'making love' is corny?

In our house it depends on who is listening. My husband sometimes says that he wants 'cookies' and even on occassion has used the 'p' word.

We never refer to it as 'making love' though.

okay we are all grown her so I am gonna be real. We are a little on the aggressive side so we either say can I have some dick/pussy or we just say straight up lets fuck.....BUT when we get too it it is sometimes nice and slow like we are making love....lol

'Sex' is boring, and "Making Love" is vomit-inducing. Fuck, P-ssy, etc.. are too obvious. They seem like they've been done to death.. I'd rather be creative and think outside the box.

Driving (my aunt was having a talk with me and I sensed that she was having a hard time finding the words to ask me the inevitable, and I simply said that:

I have only had 3 drivers all of whom I made damn sure that I knew for a long time before I even let them SEE my car let alone, drive it.
I haven't had any accidents, scratches, or fender benders.
I only drive on one way streets.
I've only had one driver and no other passengers each time my car was driven.
I don't let anyone drive my car without insurance. Ever.
I have had the same driver for more than 8 years and he is the only one I'll ever let drive my car. He has is own set of keys.)

We have a few others many of which we made up ourselves because of our [lewd and horribly, horribly inappropriate] sense of humor, we have a LOT of inside jokes and we also have our own sign language. We'll change it up every now and then to keep things interesting, and to keep it random just in case someone gets the gist.. A lot of times, those around us will hear us talking, think the wrong thing, and usually end up looking stupid for laughing at what they thought was inappropriate.. when the irony is that we were talking about it using just regular words and phrases.. usually to our delight, they would chime in and say something like; "I know what you mean.. One day, I let my mom drive my car, and she got into a fender bender with my sister and grandmother in the back seat." any then they'd look at us like we are nuts when we start laughing our asses off.

I have used that term before.. but for some reason it just didn't sit right with me.. it kinda reminded me of something you'd see in a cheesy soap opera.. and even then, you have a lot of people who use it to refer to casual encounters or where there is usually no 'love' involved.. I guess I didn't want to associate an act where there is love, with a word that has been thrown around so casually. Besides, I wouldn't be doing that with him if I didn't love him so maybe I didn't want to be redundant.. lol

I totally agree with you! I have only made love to one man in my life and it was great! Since then, I have fucked, rearranged furniture, had sex, hit it then quit it lol. Making love without love is just making it and that ain't that fun!
