yea i was thinking the same..its one thing if a women is completly mislead and starts to catch feelings after the fact then finds out the man is married....that is forgivable. BUT! when you are in that industry when you know just about who everyone is KISSING let alone married too...then as a women if this is true...then Alicia should have been a women about hers and known better...i mean did neither her or swizz really not have any control?? i mean swizz you loved enough to stay long enough to have a child! just awful!!!.......Im just surprised that Alicia wasnt women about hers and has the audacity to be self righteous in this after doing such a thing....this is not love and both need to give it the hell up...karma is a beotch for teh both of them

Two words to describe it all. Mismatch. And the other word.. Eww. Why anyone would have a kid with this fugly dude is beyond me. (His wife is very pretty.. hence the word "mismatch" with her and Keys') I know that sounds superficial, and while, I usually use the term to describe personality, I feel that the term is apropos for the situation. This guy's face has tied with the Mackenzie Phillips story in the battle of who can make me lose my lunch. I mean seriously.. it's not his face, and it can't be his personality.. Keys' has her own money, so other than the obvious, what does he have?

While I think this is wrong, I don't think that steal/stole is/are the right word(s) for this situation. These terms imply that this "swiss beats" character was his wifes' to begin with, and as messed up and wrong as this is, judging from his actions, as selfish as they were, this was never the case. I used to think that Keys' had class especially considering the actions of other celebs her age.. I thought that she was above this.. but I suppose that I was wrong, and this situation only sheds light on the fact that trash is still trash, no matter how pretty it is, or how much money it has. I feel for the wife in this, and I thought that her letter was very classy considering the vile scum that it was directed at. I hope that she realizes that one disgusting p.o.s. deserves another, and I hope that she can find the strength to move on from this.

I hope that it isn't true.. but considering the promiscuity of those in this industry, I am thinking that it is.

It is revolting on so many levels. I don't know Alicia Keys personally but what the heck is the purpose in being a philanthropist in public while behind closed doors you are sleeping with another woman's husband?
You want to have a positive impact on the world but you are playing a supporting role in breaking up a family.

And Divine, I do. I mean what is the point of getting married if you are just going to cheat anyway? And even if they were separated at the time, a separation ≠ divorce. I'd think that any self-respecting woman would have known this, and told the man, that until his divorce was final and done with, that nothing will ever happen between them. Even more still, a good, and a real woman would have told him to go back to his wife, and to think of his family instead of his penis and rejected him right then and there. My disgust is partly because of this dude's face, (this guy "Swiss" between these two beautiful women remind me of those hideous, circus-fat, toothless, disheveled looking men that the attractive chicks usually fight over on Jerry Springer..) but seriously it's because I find behavior such as this is disgusting. Even more so when you are supposedly a philanthropist. And really, I don't think too much of the good things they do because usually it is in response to something f'd up they did.

Such as that basketball player a while back who said that he hates gays etc.. when his fellow team mate came out of the closet. he later apologized, and made some donations to gay, and aids charities.

If you genuinely are a good person, then you wouldn't need to use charity as a means to appease the public when you've done something horrible. That would be like Chris Brown apologizing and then donating money to causes for battered women, or a racist donating to causes for Blacks or other minorities. Not saying that Keys' had, but a lot of them use charity to try and divert their attention from bad behavior. Oprah Winfrey is a good person and she gives because of it. If you are a bad person, own it.. Don't hide behind good deeds and charity.. that's like those in church on Sunday being the kindest, most Godly, and the most spiritual, and then the moment they step outside, they go right back to being a hateful person, the polar opposite of the character they portrayed in church during the remaining days of the week.

I know that kids are supposed to look up to their parents, but sadly they don't and look up to celebs instead. And I wonder just what affect this will have on them, considering that quite a few of them sided with Chris Brown when he did what he did to Rhianna. I mean a lot of them already think that it is cool to be promiscuous, play the other woman/man, cheat, abuse, do drugs, join a gang etc.. and I think that it is sad, and it is scary that these are the kids who will end up taking care of us someday. And to be fair, it takes 2 people to break up a family.. the person straying, and the person they strayed with to drive the final nail into it.

It's easy to say that we thought she was above this, but in reality we're all human and we all do things that may shame us. I think it's so easy to say what you would and wouldnt do, but you never know what the future holds. Unfortunately, all the kids that look up to her may think it's okay to take someone's man because she did it.
