he didnt make me look bad because I am my own person. Kanye said what he felt needed to be said because honestly Taylor did not have the best video of the year. there are many other artists that could have won that award. I think they just wanted to give it to her to bring in the country audience. Many country fans dont watch the VMA's anyway so this was MTV's way of saying hey welcome. However I still felt bad for Taylor....she looked so sad.....
even when I think about it...if a white celebrity had said it, there would not be an issue. this reminds me of what happened to serena at the US open. she cursed out the lady who called a bad play and now serena is being fined and might be banned for a year. There are many white tennis players (past and present) who do a lot of trash talking all the time but they dont get in trouble.

ladies we should be used to Kanye by now. My dad was even happy Kanye said it like that......lol kanye is that type of person that does not hold his tongue. Just like when he made that statement about how George Bush does not like black people. Many people thought it was wrong for him to say it but it had some truth to it because it took Bush forever to help those people who were affected by Katrina. yet when the tsunami hit thailand he was quick to send help within 24-48 hours. Kanye knows what he is doing...he knows when to flap his lips and knows when not to speak.

lol O poor Taylor...someone needs to give her a hug. Kanye ripped her....she looked lifeless after he left the stage.

I saw it.. I had to back up my dvr to make sure I actually saw what I did. What he did was messed up. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up banned someday and have to accept his award via Skype.

And really, after the bush incident, they should have at least been prepared.. and yes, while there was truth to his comment about bush, there is a time and a place for everything, and the awards was neither the time nor the place for him to do that.

I admit though, when I first saw it, I thought it was a skit.. that is, until I saw the look on Taylor's face.. and the Tracy Morgan clip they played.

um he was only telling the truth. i mean really beyonce video was bigger than life when it first came out with them talking about it even on the news and taylor swift wins? oh come the hell on!

I'm sure that it was a moment where he only said what everyone else was thinking.. but had too much class to say.. especially those who applauded, but for whatever reason, those who voted for her, or how ever it is determined saw it differently. Not only that, she is a fellow artist, and there are just some things that you shouldn't do. You'd think that there'd be some unspoken rule or mutual understanding about that. There is a time and a place for everything, and if this was her first award, then that makes this worse.

And really, what exactly was the point of that anyway? Did he think that they would have said, "Great Scott!!! Kanye is right! Let us go and rescind the award and present it to the rightful owner." I mean what would people have done if Eminem, Pete Wentz, or Kid Rock had done that to Beyonce? Especially if it was her first award. Some would probably say they told the truth, while others would likely cry racism..

And according to this, they should have at least been better prepared considering the fact that he has quite a track record with this behavior. Personally, I don\'t think that Beyonce is all that great.. I think she has a nice voice and everything, but I just don't get why people think she is so great when there are many other artists out there who are just as talented, if not, more so.

While the message in the song, Singe Ladies is uplifting, (and that glove thing was cool..) I think the message will be lost on a lot of those who play it. They may think about it, say yeah that's a good point, proceed to leave their panties at home as they depart for the club or their man's house. Her songs get a lot of airtime on top 40 stations, and I wonder if the people who like it get tired of it. I liked Next's Too Close back in the day, but I got sick of that too. However, despite its [Single Ladies] airtime, It won't change anything. I liked Womanizer, and If You Seek Amy. I thought that the double entendre in If You Seek Amy was clever.. and I loved how controversial it was. I thought that those were excellent videos, and that they should have won.. and I don't even like Britney Spears. Although, I am tired of seeing her half naked in her videos. But, that is a thought that I would've kept to myself in that situation.
